Job summary
The Boeing Company in El Segundo, California is seeking an experienced Satellite Electrical Power and Harness Systems Engineer to contribute to next-generation satellite projects. This role covers power and harness subsystems across development and sustaining engineering, with collaboration across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience with space-related electrical power and harness subsystems.
- Knowledge of DC-DC converters and power electronics.
Responsibilities
- Define and refine requirements and verification artifacts for satellite electrical power and/or harness subsystems.
- Perform detailed power subsystem analyses (battery performance modeling, bus regulation, redundancy).
- Conduct harness analyses (voltage drop, fuse blow, FMEA).
- Develop, maintain, and update vehicle-level power budgets for all mission phases.
- Lead power subsystem architecture and sizing efforts (block diagram, solar array sizing, battery capacity).
- Collaborate across thermal, mechanical, software, and avionics teams to ensure design integrity.
