Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a satellite harness design engineer to own harness design from early stages to production and flight. You will define electrical connectivity, select components, and guide integration across the vehicle.

The role spans design, testing, and manufacturing with frequent cross-disciplinary collaboration. Qualifications include a bachelor’s in engineering and hands-on experience with electro-mechanical harness design, including Siemens NX, system trades, and multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or other engineering discipline.
• Experience with electro-mechanical wire harness design or manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD software, especially Siemens NX.

Responsibilities

• Own satellite avionics interconnection system design and integration across life cycle stages.
• Architect harness designs and generate detailed electrical schematics.
• Develop electro-mechanical harness designs in a 3D NX CAD environment.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, RF, EMI teams to meet requirements.
