Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an experienced Mechanical Integration & Test Engineer (Starlink) to own the integration of satellite hardware and test systems. You will work across design, manufacturing, testing, and flight teams to optimize vehicle and user-product testing, manage test infrastructure, and drive improvements from root-cause analyses.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and 1+ years in design or hands-on manufacturing, with proficiency in CAD tools and a hands-on, high-ambiguity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 1+ years of design and/or hands-on manufacturing experience (internships, projects, or professional).

Responsibilities

• Manage physical infrastructure of test integration and operations.
• Mechanical design of infrastructure and tooling for test integration and operations.
• Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration.
• Interface with engineers, specialists, and technicians to optimize testing operations.
• New vehicle integration into new and existing infrastructure.
• Enable day-to-day execution of vehicle integration and test flow to serve customers.
• Evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause and create actionable items and system improvements.
