Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the acceptance testing of satellite electronics and to develop advanced electrical test systems for Starlink production in Redmond, WA. The role focuses on NPI of PCBA assemblies, fixture design, and process validation under aggressive timelines.

Ideal candidates will have a STEM degree, 1+ years in manufacturing or test of electronic hardware, and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, test, or design of electronic products or hardware (internships and project teams acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Build expertise in manufacturing and acceptance test processes for satellite electrical components.
• Lead NPI of PCBA assemblies into production, overseeing qualification, tooling design, line layout, and DFМ feedback.
• Evaluate non-conforming hardware, perform root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
