Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer (Starlink) to own and advance test infrastructure and vehicle integration across multiple spaces. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize testing operations and ensure robust hardware and systems integration.

The role requires hands-on design, fabrication, and testing in a state-of-the-art environment with cross-functional teams, plus flexibility for travel and extended hours to meet mission-critical deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of design and/or hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python and CAD tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical infrastructure of test integration and operations.
• Mechanical design of infrastructure and tooling for test integration and operations.
• Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration.
• Interface with engineers, specialists, and technicians to optimize testing operations.
• New vehicle integration into new and existing infrastructure.
• Enable day-to-day execution of vehicle integration and test flow to serve our customers.
• Evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause and create actionable items and system improvements.
