Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer (Starlink Aviation) to own test software, test equipment, and the integrated testing of electrical and network systems for enterprise aviation customers. You will design, validate and maintain high‑reliability test solutions and collaborate with electrical, mechanical and software teams to support Starlink hardware testing.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, performing root‑cause analysis, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of professional mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing (internships/co-ops and club projects can apply)

Responsibilities

• Design, activate and operate test hardware and equipment including test software as needed to evaluate component and system performance for various mobility network applications
• Troubleshoot hardware issues real-time, push feedback to correct owners to eliminate repeat issues
• Aid in investigations and root‑cause analysis of any non‑conformances, and work with responsible engineers to develop test requirements for flight hardware, driving hardware and system design improvements
• Work with teams across disciplines including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to conceptualize and develop test systems required to test Starlink hardware
• Create and modify software applications to run data acquisition and control systems
