Job summary

SpaceX in Washington state is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to lead the development of manufacturing and test processes for satellite sub-assemblies. You will coordinate between production, design engineering, and supply chain to ensure flight-worthy hardware.

Responsibilities include defining assembly flow, enabling day-to-day production, and refining procedures while addressing non-conformances and design-for-manufacturability. Some travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 1+ years of professional mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage assembly flow and test operations of satellite sub-assembly production area.
• Enable day-to-day execution of the production area by eliminating blockers and waste.
• Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned.
• Evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause and drive corrective actions.
• Scrutinize designs for manufacturability, reliability, and repeatability.
• Interface with technicians, specialists, and engineers across disciplines.
