Job summary

Amazon Leo is developing a low Earth orbit satellite internet network. We are seeking engineers to build embedded software across Rust, C, and C++, and to create device drivers and system applications for diverse satellite interfaces.

You will work with cross-disciplinary teams on Linux kernel/RTOS features and security capabilities, contributing to reliable, scalable space-grade software in Redmond.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years designing or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages.
• Write device drivers and system applications for satellite interfaces like I2C, SPI, CAN.
• Develop Linux Kernel / RTOS features
• Develop security features for satellite systems.
• Work closely with other software and hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration.
