Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for Starlink in Redmond, WA. You will own the hardware lifecycle from concept to flight, interfacing with avionics, payload and software teams to deliver high-performance electronics for satellite systems.

The role emphasizes mixed-signal and RF-related work, with opportunities to influence power, signal integrity, and verification across the spacecraft stack. Strong aerospace background preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics.
• 1+ years designing circuits, electronics, or hardware (internships/co-ops ok).
• Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++.
• Ability to work in cross-functional aerospace teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
• Lead trades, requirements capture, schematic capture, PCB layout and bring-up.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software and test teams.
• Support hardware through production, integration and flight.
• Drive design decisions and validate performance in orbit.
