Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) in the Los Angeles area seeks a Software Engineer 3 to work on satellite ground systems and mission planning software in Redondo Beach. You will design and implement distributed systems and cloud-native components using C++, Python, and potentially Java.

You will drive architecture for containerized deployments, contribute to CI/CD and DevSecOps, and collaborate with systems engineers, developers, and product owners to deliver robust software for space missions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong C++ and Python skills
• Advanced object-oriented programming experience
• Ability to obtain SCI clearance; Kafka, microservices, cloud applications, CI/CD, Docker/containerization, infrastructure as code, Agile/Scrum, RHEL, Java, and DevSecOps
