Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to develop and troubleshoot embedded real-time software for aerospace/defense systems. The role operates in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborates with customers and cross-functional teams on-site in Ventura, CA.

We’re looking for candidates with Ada, C/C++, or C#, strong object-oriented development skills, and experience with Git/Bitbucket/ClearCase.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain interim clearance to start.
• BS in STEM + 5 years or MS in STEM + 3 years of experience.
• Programming with Ada, C/C++, and/or C#.
• Knowledge of object-oriented software development.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, ClearCase).
• Experience in embedded real-time software for aerospace/defense environments.

Responsibilities

• Embedded software development for aerospace/defense systems.
• Resolve software/system defects and participate in reviews.
• Engage in technical interchange meetings with engineering teams.
