The Alden Network in Bloomingdale, IL seeks a part-time Dietary Aide for Saturday shifts (4:15AM-12:15PM). You will prepare and serve meals according to planned menus, ensure proper portion control, and support dietitian-driven menu changes to meet resident needs.

Candidates should have basic dietary knowledge, be able to follow written and oral instructions, and communicate in English. The role requires strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards and teamwork within the dietary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
• One year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility preferred (but not necessary).
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and serves food according to planned menus.
• Review menu extensions prior to preparation of foods and suggest changes as needed.
• Ensure proper portion control and food safety procedures are followed.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies and labeling items.
