The Alden Network in Illinois is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in all dietary functions per policies and regulations. You will help with meal preparation, service, and related tasks in a hospital or facility setting.

Candidates should be able to read and follow written and oral instructions, work well with residents and staff, maintain clean work areas, and demonstrate patience and reliability in a fast-paced environment. Prior dietary experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must follow oral and written instructions.
• Must read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to work harmoniously with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow dietary procedures in line with policies and regulations.
• Assist in meal preparation and serving as scheduled.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and orderly work areas.
• Assist with menus, diet cards, and tray delivery.
• Report accidents or hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Attend staff meetings and perform related duties as assigned.
