Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a SAP Manufacturing Technical Consultant to join the Technology Analysis team. You will help clients optimize SAP Manufacturing within Core Supply Chain, translating business needs into technical specifications and leading workshops and solution design.

You will manage diverse teams, deliver complex SAP initiatives, and maintain strong client relationships across levels. This role requires travel and offers a hybrid work arrangement with a comprehensive rewards

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).
Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the Production Planning (PP) module.
A proven track record of leading teams to deliver project deliverables within critical deadlines.
Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members in the manufacturing space.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
Insight into best practices, benchmarking, peer company environments, and previous advisory roles pertinent to industry-specific production, quality management, and technology functions.
A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Responsibilities

Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and solutions.
Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.
Actively participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
Lead and design workshops in the manufacturing space, gathering requirements and recommending S/4 HANA best practices to implement tailored solutions in clients’ SAP environments.
Manage a hybrid team of offshore and onshore team members, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to implementation schedules.
Exhibit strong functional expertise in SAP Manufacturing, complemented by robust business acumen.
Oversee and deliver high-quality SAP projects or workstreams.
Provide exceptional client service by tracking project milestones, managing risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding progress and results.
Cultivate and sustain relationships with key client personnel at all levels.
