This is a remote position.

Project Overview:

This strategic Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) initiative is part of a large-scale program aimed at modernizing and standardizing maintenance and network construction processes through an upgrade to the latest SAP S/4HANA release. The objective is to harmonize asset data, processes, and systems across multiple entities, both nationally and internationally. The final system go-live is scheduled for Q1 2027.

Project Goal:

The program aims to implement unified data models, standardized business processes, and a common SAP-based EAM solution across various distribution system operators (DSOs). Rollouts are coordinated centrally in close collaboration with local teams.

Role Description:

As part of the central EAM team, we are looking for a highly experienced SAP-PM Consultant to support the implementation and harmonization of master data, equipment structures, and characteristics management across the group.

Coordination with DSOs regarding characteristic fields in the SAP PM environment.

Source system analysis of characteristics and understanding of the overall scope; analyzing large volumes of data to identify structures and cross-functional patterns.

Implementing measures to standardize characteristics across the group and eliminate unused ones.

Data evaluations and table modifications in SAP PM.

Rapid and comprehensive familiarization with the EAM template (equipment structure/master data, classes & characteristics) with the goal of gaining deep expertise.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP PM under S/4HANA.

Solid understanding of SAP modules (CO, FI, SD, MM, PM).

Experience with utilities and typical asset data requirements in this sector.

Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Access, and SQL databases.

Strong data affinity, precision, and perseverance.

Excellent communication skills, methodological expertise, and experience in developing migration concepts.

Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
