• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDP, SOX).
• Financial awareness regarding the operational impacts on billing, revenue recognition, and working capital.

Responsibilities

• OTC Process Execution: Drive day-to-day performance of order-to-cash systems operations and functionality.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements using data analysis and process mapping to isolate root causes, eliminate errors, and improve customer/provider experience.
• System & Platform Support: Partner with third‑party software vendors and internal technical teams to support OTC systems, integrations, and enhancements.
• SAP S/4HANA Operations: Support SAP S/4HANA OTC processes, contributing to system enhancements, integrations, and workflow optimizations.
• Governance & Compliance: Maintain SOPs, SLAs, and controls to ensure compliant, stable operations.
• Issue Resolution & Escalation: Lead resolution of complex order issues across teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, and IT for alignment.
• Reporting & Insights: Track performance and communicate risks and improvements to leadership.

Role Overview

The Senior Specialist (Manager), Order Management Systems leads the execution and continuous improvement of the order-to-cash (OTC) process and supporting platforms. This role focuses on order application platforms and business processes from creation through billing—supporting customer and patient access, improving user interface and experience, and protecting revenue integrity.

This role combines operational execution with system ownership, requiring strong analytical capability, hands‑on SAP experience, and the ability to translate business needs into system‑driven solutions. Reporting to the Director of Order Management Systems, you will partner cross-functionally to deliver process improvements, support and implement system enhancements, and maintain operational stability across OTC workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• OTC Process Execution: Drive day-to-day performance of order-to-cash systems operations and functionality. Leverage defined KPIs (cycle time, error rates, order accuracy) to actively manage and improve performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements using data analysis and process mapping to isolate root causes, eliminate errors, and improve customer/provider experience.
• System & Platform Support: Partner with third‑party software vendors and internal technical teams to support OTC systems, integrations, and enhancements. Ensure stability, data integrity, and system responsiveness.
• SAP S/4HANA Operations: Support SAP S/4HANA OTC processes, contributing to system enhancements, integrations (APIs/EDI), and workflow optimizations.
• Governance & Compliance: Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and controls to ensure consistent execution and regulatory compliance (GDP, SOX).
• Issue Resolution & Escalation: Lead the resolution of complex order issues, collaborating across teams to identify root causes and execute corrective actions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, and IT teams to ensure alignment across order processing, billing, and revenue recognition activities.
• Reporting & Insights: Track and communicate operational performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership using analytics tools.
• Launch & Change Support: Support new product launches, system updates, and process changes (including UAT, cutover planning, and post‑launch stabilization) to ensure operational readiness.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background working within fully integrated Order‑to‑Cash ecosystems.
• Exposure to process automation, workflow digitization, or order intake optimization initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience with API integrations, workflows, Visio process mapping, and building interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and post‑launch system stabilization.
