Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Data Management and Strategy to transform data into a strategic asset for clients. You will lead workstreams, engage daily with clients, identify opportunities for additional services, and manage engagement economics while guiding your team toward innovative solutions.

This hybrid role requires expertise in SAP data management, MDG, data governance, and data quality, with 4–6+ years of hands-on SAP experience and travel up to 60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (4-year degree).
• 4–6+ years hands-on SAP data transformation experience (MDG, Data Migration, MDG implementations).
• Experience across SAP data management disciplines: Data Migration, MDG, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Analytics.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data model and migrations (ECC to S/4HANA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client-facing presentations, workshops, and technical docs.
• Proven experience leading SAP data workstreams and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of leading practices and advisory experience for business/tech transformation.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions and policies impacting data governance and operations.
• Apply methods and tools to govern and control data lifecycle across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
• Lead workstreams, manage timelines, and ensure quality and risk management.
• Engage with clients daily to identify opportunities and manage engagement economics.
• Provide direction to teams and foster collaborative, innovative problem solving.
