Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end FI-CA solutions, owning the workstream, defining functional approaches, and ensuring integration with SAP IS-U across the utility context. You will guide cross-functional teams including Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Care to deliver high-quality solutions with strong controls.

Required are a bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years in SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience designing FI-CA solutions across payments, receivables, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and reconciliation.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder-management skills, and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Owning the SAP IS-U FI-CA workstream, including scope, delivery plans, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Defining the functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, and related controls.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, design workshops, and reviews.
• Driving integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, banks, and SAP FI/CO GL.
• Governing FI-CA financial controls, posting, and reconciliation processes.
• Managing cross-workstream dependencies to align end-to-end utility processes.
• Developing functional specifications, design decisions, and documentation.
• Coaching FI-CA consultants and coordinating with technical partners.
• Overseeing end-to-end testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities.
• Travel 40-60% to meet client needs.
