Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing. You will own the Billing workstream, translate tariffs and regulatory requirements, and ensure alignment across meter-to-cash processes.

You will lead functional teams, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and drive solution quality, testing, deployment, and operational readiness across complex billing scenarios.

Qualifications

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• Strong understanding of utility rates, tariffs, billing cycles.
• Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP IS-U designs.
• Proven experience leading SAP transformation initiatives and client-facing engagements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage dependencies.
• Strong communication skills to explain decisions to business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Owning the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through go-live and stabilization.
• Defining target functional design for Billing and Invoicing, including tariffs and billing schemas.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design governance.
• Driving end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities.
• Leading the design and delivery of complex billing scenarios and financial reconciliation.
• Developing functional specifications, documentation, and design standards.
• Coaching functional team members and resolving cross-workstream issues.
• Overseeing testing and defect resolution for rates, cycles, and invoicing.
• Managing scope, estimates, risks, and stakeholder decisions; communicating impacts.
• Leading cutover planning and operational readiness activities.
• Building trusted client relationships and guiding transformation priorities.
