Role Overview

As a SAP Finance Transformation Sales Lead – Senior Manager, your goal is to provide clients with unique insights on leveraging SAP technology to enhance their operations. This role is rooted in EY’s SAP service capabilities, including Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, and SuccessFactors, aimed at boosting client performance and productivity.

The Opportunity

We innovate with SAP to co-create solutions, drawing on our integrated expertise across tax, assurance, transactions, and risk, as well as SAP implementation. You will work with key Finance stakeholders to understand their needs, advise on SAP Finance system capabilities, and lead sales efforts with client stakeholders and EY SAP leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale sales pursuits across sectors like Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology, or Industrial Products, primarily in Finance.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and assessing client needs. Collaborate across practices to serve clients effectively.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships at all levels, including CXOs, to foster trust and collaboration.
• Drive sales using an integrated framework, incorporating creative solutions to meet client transformation needs and converting opportunities into successful sales.
• Manage engagement delivery and client relationships daily.
• Oversee program and project management, ensuring engagement economics are met.
• Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.

• Technical expertise in application design and business requirements.
• Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
• 5-7+ years in sales/pursuits
• 10+ years working with SAP S4HANA Finance modules
• Experience leading SAP Finance implementations and familiarity with SAP Accelerate methodology
• Strong communication, presentation, and client service skills
• Experience managing SAP projects and teams
• Willingness to travel (estimated at 60+%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Consulting experience with Big Four or major SAP SI firms
• SAP certifications (e.g., C_TS4FI, C_TS4CO, E-S4CPE)
• Industry experience in Finance or Accounting
