Job summary

STAFFXPERT LLC in Oak Brook, IL is seeking a SAP FICO Consultant with deep hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), including SAP S/4HANA.

The role covers owning finance processes, managing system changes, and leading UAT and testing periods in a hybrid environment with onsite work three days per week and up to five days during testing. Strong FI/CO knowledge and S/4HANA Private Cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the ACDOCA Universal Journal.
• Experience leading UAT, change control, and production releases.
• Hybrid work: onsite three days per week, up to five days during testing periods.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), including SAP S/4HANA, finance process ownership, and enterprise financial operations. This role involves supporting critical finance processes, managing system changes, and ensuring smooth financial close activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support SAP Finance and Controlling processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and financial closing.
• Manage and support SAP changes, ensuring appropriate review, testing, and approval before production deployment.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change control, and implementation activities.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP FICO functionality to meet business requirements.
• Support Controlling processes, including Cost Centers, Internal Orders, and Profit Centers.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve financial processes.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with established procedures and controls.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and RISE with SAP.
• Strong knowledge of FI modules, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Closing Cockpit.
