Job summary

Sygna Solutions in Alpharetta, GA, seeks a highly experienced SAP FICO Business Consultant with 10+ years to work directly with business stakeholders onsite.

The ideal candidate will explain complex SAP topics to non-technical leaders, lead client meetings, and deliver end-to-end FI/CO solutions across GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO-PA with strong cross-module integration.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of strong SAP FICO experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI and CO.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial business processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Tax and financial reporting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Strong understanding of integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules
• Excellent client-facing and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complicated SAP concepts to non-technical business users and executives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to independently lead client discussions and confidently answer business and SAP questions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior SAP FICO subject matter expert and primary functional contact for business stakeholders.
• Work directly with clients to understand business requirements, challenges, and process gaps.
• Explain SAP FICO functionality, processes, configurations, and proposed solutions in simple business language.
• Conduct client meetings, requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, solution walkthroughs, and presentations.
• Translate business requirements into practical SAP FICO solutions.
• Provide clear explanations of FI, CO, integration, financial processes, and business impacts.
• Lead discussions around General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis.
• Explain the impact of SAP changes on existing business processes and downstream systems.
• Work with technical teams, developers, integration teams, and other SAP functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Review functional specifications and ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Support testing, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and production support activities.
• Present solution options, recommendations, risks, and trade-offs to client leadership.
• Act as a trusted advisor and provide guidance based on extensive SAP FICO experience.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP FICO Business Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience who can work directly with business stakeholders and clients.

The ideal candidate should have strong SAP FICO knowledge and, most importantly, the ability to understand complex technical/functional topics and explain them clearly to clients, business users, and leadership. The consultant must be confident in client meetings, requirement discussions, solution walkthroughs, and presentations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The candidate should be more than a traditional SAP FICO configurator. We need someone who can sit in front of a client, understand the question, think through the business impact, and clearly explain the solution.

The consultant should be able to:
