Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an SAP ABAP Manager to lead delivery of ABAP solutions across SAP S/4HANA and ECC. You will guide design, build, test, and deployment while engaging with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

The role requires strong ABAP expertise, OO-ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and experience in agile delivery and DevOps within SAP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) required.
• Typically 4–6 years hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong ABAP expertise including OO-ABAP, modularization, debugging/troubleshooting.
• Experience designing, developing, and enhancing ABAP-based solutions (reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, OData/Web Services).
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and ECC, including integration across SAP modules and familiarity with ABAP on HANA concepts.
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with ABAP back-end services.
• Strong understanding of SAP Data Dictionary objects, data modeling, and performance tuning/optimization.
• Experience working within Agile delivery models and exposure to DevOps practices in SAP environments.
• Familiarity with SAP technologies such as Solution Manager, PI/PO (or CPI), SAP LT, Data Services, and SAP Security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing discussions.
• Ability to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.
• Ideally SAP certification(s).
