Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP ABAP Manager to lead delivery of ABAP projects across SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments. You will translate client requirements into scalable ABAP solutions, lead teams, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to drive high-quality SAP outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on ABAP development, OO techniques, and Fiori/UI5 integration, with travel up to 40-60% as needed by clients. A 4–6 year ABAP background is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong ABAP expertise, including OOABAP and debugging.
• Proven SAP ABAP solution design, reports, interfaces, and OData/Web Services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA/ECC integration and ABAP on HANA concepts.
• Proficiency in ABAP back-end integration with Fiori/UI5.
• Familiarity with SAP tools and DevOps practices in SAP environments.
• Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of SAP ABAP projects and manage scope, quality, and risk.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, functional leads, and clients to drive integrated SAP solutions.
• Guide and mentor project teams, providing direction and timely feedback.
