Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP ABAP Manager to lead development across SAP ABAP, ABAP OO, and UI5 in a client-facing, agile setting. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, work with architects and stakeholders, and guide teams through design, build, test, and deployment.

Travel 40-60% may be required. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience, with strong scripting, debugging, and integration skills in S/4HANA and ECC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 4–6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expertise in ABAP including OO ABAP, modularization, and debugging.
• Experience designing ABAP-based reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and OData/Web Services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC integration across modules; ABAP on HANA concepts familiar.
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with ABAP back-end services.
• Strong communication, client-facing skills, and ability to document for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ABAP delivery across full project lifecycles including design, build, test, and deploy.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions balancing client needs and risk.
• Partner with functional leads, architects, and stakeholders to drive integrated SAP solutions.
• Guide teams, provide direction, and ensure quality solutions in Agile environments.
• Engage with external clients, run sessions, and manage workstreams from planning to closure.
