Job summary

Security Properties is seeking a sanitation associate to follow SOPs for cleaning production equipment, ensuring safety and hygiene. You will record sanitation activities and update supervisors on progress and non-routine issues.

Work spans multiple shifts including weekends, with tasks such as wet washing rooms and lines, reporting activities, and advising when supplies should be ordered. The role requires strength, attention to detail, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of being productive across all shifts including weekends.
• Regularly stand; may sit, walk, stoop or crouch; may ascend/descend stairs.
• May move up to 50-75 pounds with hoist, pallet-jack or cart, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Trained and certified to use a scissor lift to perform cleaning tasks at heights of up to 20 feet above the plant floor.
• Fall protection training per HFS safety guidelines; Lock Out/Tag Out protocols training.

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday + Overtime/Weekends

1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:00PM

3rd Shift: 10:00PM to 6:00AM

Panama Shift Pattern (2-2-3)

A/B Crew: 6:00AM to 6:00PM

C/D Crew: 6:00PM to 6:00AM

Job Summary:

Follows standard operating procedures to perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety and hygiene. May record information to reflect sanitation activities and issues. Advises/updates supervisor/manager of progress and or other non-routine issues.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, walk, stoop or crouch. In addition, some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs.

Employee will be trained and certified to use a scissor lift to perform cleaning tasks at heights of up to 20 feet above the plant floor.

Employee will be provided appropriate fall protection according to HFS safety guidelines.

Employee will be trained and certified to perform Lock Out/Tag Out protocols on production equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention detail are critical skills for this position.

Able to communicate and take direction from the Sanitation Group Lead and/or the Sanitation Supervisor.

Work Environment

Multi-shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, wet/humid and vary in temperature from refrigerated environment, ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility. Perform work in areas which have strong food smells.
