Job summary

The Campbell's Company is hiring a Sanitation Technician / Equipment Cleaner in Downers Grove, IL. You will maintain food safety, sanitation, and production efficiency across the facility.

This role disassembles and cleans equipment, operates forklifts, and adheres to SQF/HACCP, submitting SAP work orders daily. A high school diploma with 2+ years related experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, sanitation, maintenance, or industrial cleaning.
• Ability to follow safety rules and operating procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment understanding.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, inspect, and reassemble production equipment per procedures.
• Work in hot environments, including steam rooms, while maintaining safety.
• Maintain areas per sanitation, SQF, HACCP, CTS, SOP, safety and hygiene requirements.
• Analyze equipment performance and identify issues impacting production quality or efficiency.
• Submit SAP work orders and close them daily.
• Communicate clearly with incoming/outgoing shifts about tasks and requests.
• Transport scrap containers and push/pull loads up to 800 pounds.
• Operate forklifts with certification and maintain licensing.
• Utilize floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment safely.
• Follow 5S standards for cleanliness and organization.
• Support plant safety initiatives and PPE requirements.
• Work overtime when needed and collaborate with team.
