Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Commitment to following GMPs, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and follow dilution and mixing instructions.
• Willingness and ability to wear required PPE.
• Ability to complete and maintain required safety certifications and training.
• Flexibility to work weekends and non-traditional work schedules as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food processing equipment in accordance with SSOPs.
• Perform end-of-production, end-of-week, and equipment changeover cleaning activities.
• Complete facility sanitation and master cleaning assignments as scheduled.
• Mix, handle, and apply cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Follow GMPs and all food safety requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Complete and maintain required certifications and training.
• Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties including floors, dispensers, and equipment.
