Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Beloit, WI is seeking a Sanitation Coordinator to lead the sanitation team, train staff on hygiene practices, and ensure safe, clean operations in a food manufacturing setting. You will drive food safety and operational excellence across the facility.

Responsibilities include managing the Master Sanitation Schedule, maintaining PPE inventories, and using Excel for data tracking. The role requires lifting 100+ pounds, rotating shifts with Sundays, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food processing or food manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Sanitation and/or Quality.
• Knowledge of sanitation processes, food safety standards, and manufacturing sanitation requirements.
• Experience training employees on sanitation procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and distribute sanitation workload based on the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Train new and existing team members on sanitation procedures, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor employee compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintain sanitation equipment and ensure adequate inventories of PPE.
• Utilize powered cleaning equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, power washers, and other sanitation tools.
• Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout and SDS guidelines.
• Perform plant cleaning activities and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Enter chemical usage data into Excel and create SOPs.
