Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Sanitation Technician for night shifts in Indiana. You will sanitize, clean in place processes, and maintain production areas to meet safety and food hygiene standards. The role supports equipment cleaning and production line sanitation under USDA and FDA GMPs.

Required are 1–4 years of experience, a High School diploma, ability to lift 45 lbs, and physical stamina to stand for long shifts. Email applications to [e-mail].

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of relevant sanitation/food production experience.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP principles is preferred.
• Ability to safely disassemble and reassemble complex processing and packaging equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsabilités

• Remove labels, lids, and O rings from totes and containers.
• Pre-rinse inside stainless-steel totes and place on CIP skid for cleaning.
• Cleanse inside Liquiverters and industrial kettles.
• Follow boil-out procedures for sanitization.
• Clean all production areas including cook deck, platforms, and packaging area.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning in hard-to-reach areas.
• Scrub and sanitize floors, walls, drains, and overhead structures.
• Adhere to GMPs and HACCP guidelines per USDA/FDA.
• Test chemical concentrations and perform surface swab logging in MSS.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

About the Role

As a Sanitation Technician, your role is responsible for ensuring the facility adheres to strict safety and hygiene standards through cleaning in place processes, sanitizing, and maintaining production equipment and their areas. Additionally, Sanitation Technicians are responsible for safeguarding public health by ensuring the facility and equipment are sanitized following safety protocols and food safety regulations.

9:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• ??? Removal of labels, lids, and orange O ring underneath lids of totes and other containers.
• ??? Prerinse inside the stainless-steel totes and place onto CIP skid for further cleaning.
• ??? Cleanse inside of Liquiverters and Industrial food grade kettles.
• ??? Follow proper boil out procedures.
• ??? Cleaning all areas within production including the cook deck platform, Liquiverters platform, production floor, packaging department, and all associated equipment.
• ??? Dismantle complex food production machinery to clean in hard-to-reach areas and reassembling the equipment for the next production day.
• ??? Scrubbing and sanitizing floors, walls, drains and overhead structures.
• ??? Adhering to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points(HACCP) set by the USDA and FDA.
• ??? Conduct testing of chemical concentration and surface swabs and logging into the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• ??? Additional duties as assigned.

• - Ability to stand, reach, bend, grip, flex for a standard 8-hour shift.
