Job summary

Ecolab in the United States is offering a 11-week Technical Sales Intern program in Food & Beverage, with a summer 2027 start. You will work alongside account managers in plant environments, focusing on sanitation and food safety, gaining hands-on experience in service delivery.

The internship includes relocation flexibility to nationwide locations and a hybrid work arrangement, with potential for a full-time Associate Account Manager role after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, or chemistry with anticipated graduation December 2027 or May/June 2028.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with existing Account Managers in customer plant environments, focusing on sanitation and food safety using effective, efficient products and processes.
• Learn daily Account Manager responsibilities and work on value-added projects to present findings to leadership.
• Cultivate professional relationships with plant staff at all levels.
• Apply mechanical aptitude to repair, adjust, test and install dispensing systems and processing equipment.
• Monitor product performance and adjust chemical concentration levels to improve efficiency.
• Provide industry training to customers on plant sanitation and SOPs for food safety/quality.
• Introduce new product/service offerings to existing accounts to disinfect plant surfaces.
• Learn how to prospect to generate new business.
