Job summary

Ecolab is seeking Technical Sales Interns for a 11-week summer internship in the Food & Beverage division. You will work with account managers in customer plant environments, focusing on food safety and sanitation products and programs, and you will learn to present findings on value-added projects to leadership.

The program supports relocation within the United States and offers a hybrid work setup balancing field days with remote work, with potential for a full-time role after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's in dairy/food/agri science, engineering, or chemistry with graduation Dec 2027 or May/Jun 2028.
• U.S. Driving license required with acceptable motor vehicle record and access to a personal vehicle.
• 11-week internship starting June 1st; immigration sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Work with Account Managers in plant environments focusing on food safety and sanitation products and programs.
• Learn daily Account Manager duties and present findings to leadership after value-added projects.
• Cultivate relationships with plant staff through professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.
• Repair, adjust, test and install Ecolab dispensing systems and CIP equipment.
• Monitor product performance and adjust chemical concentrations to improve efficiency.
• Provide industry training on plant sanitation, SOPs, and food safety/quality.
• Introduce new product/service offerings to existing accounts to disinfect surfaces.
• Learn how to prospect to generate new business.
