Job summary

Ecolab offers a 11-week paid internship (Summer 2027) in the United States with hybrid work and relocation options. As a Technical Sales Intern, you will support Account Managers in food safety and quality initiatives, while learning to develop sanitation plans and improve plant performance.

You will gain hands-on experience, deliver value-added projects, and network with leaders across Ecolab, potentially earning a full-time offer after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with anticipated graduation date Dec 2027 or May/Jun 2028
• Valid US Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle
• 11-week internship starting June 1
• Immigration sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Work closely with existing Account Managers in customer plant environments, focusing on food safety and quality using sanitation products and processes
• Learn the daily responsibilities of an Ecolab Account Manager and work on value-added projects over the summer
• Cultivate business relationships with all levels of plant staff
• Apply mechanical aptitude to repair, adjust, test and install chemical dispensing systems and CIP equipment
• Monitor product performance and adjust chemical concentrations to improve efficiency
• Provide industry expertise and training to customers on plant sanitation and procedures
• Introduce new product/service offerings to existing accounts to help disinfect surfaces
• Learn how to prospect to generate new business
