Job summary

Ecolab is seeking Technical Sales Interns for our summer 2027 internship program in Food & Beverage. You will gain hands-on experience in servicing customers, learning sanitation plans, and improving food safety and quality across plants.

The program includes 11 weeks of paid work, relocation assistance, hybrid work options, and a pathway to a full-time Associate Account Manager role after graduation, with exposure to leadership and real business impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, or chemistry with expected graduation Dec 2027 or May/Jun 2028.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.
• 11-week internship program, starting June 1.
• Position requires a valid US Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with existing Account Managers in customer plant environments, focusing on food safety and food quality using sanitation products and processes.
• Learn daily responsibilities of an Ecolab Account Manager and work on value-added projects with leadership presented findings.
• Cultivate business relationships with all levels of plant staff through professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.
• Apply mechanical aptitude to repair, adjust, test and install Ecolab dispensing systems and CIP equipment.
• Monitor product performance and adjust chemical concentration levels to improve efficiency.
• Provide industry expertise and training to customers regarding plant sanitation and food safety/quality.
• Introduce new product/service offerings to existing accounts to help disinfect surfaces.
• Learn how to successfully prospect to generate new business.
