Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. Wakefield facility seeks a sanitation technician to maintain equipment cleanliness and uphold food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production area.

Responsibilities include following sanitation schedules, pre-op checks, and teamwork to meet plant goals. Lift up to 50 lbs, work weekends/holidays/overtime, and operate in cold, wet, and noisy environments. Pallet jack license is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required (REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Able to work in cold, wet, noisy, dusty and humid environments.
• Must demonstrate open and honest communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall equipment cleanliness and sanitation of the department area.
• Follow daily/weekly/monthly sanitation schedules.
• Perform daily production start-up procedures.
• Crosstrain in sanitation duties and report equipment problems.
• Comply with safety policies, GMPs, and food safety standards.
