Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States is seeking a Sanitation Lead to assist the supervisor in meeting daily goals, guiding team members, and ensuring safe, efficient sanitation operations on the 3rd shift.

You will lead meetings, provide training, perform inspections, coordinate equipment cleaning, and communicate safety and quality updates to the team and supervisors, while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Lead responsibilities including department meetings and coaching team members.
• Must have lead/trainer or supervisory experience.
• Must understand safety protocols and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work areas for startup/shutdowns and changesovers for sanitation.
• Lead department meetings to communicate expectations and safety/quality updates.
• Perform daily inspections of sanitation processes and equipment.
• Disassemble/assemble equipment for sanitation and inspection.
• Respond to sanitation requests and coordinate with production teams.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance/repair needs.
• Communicate performance or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Serve as primary contact for team members and maintain professional conduct.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation in systems or on paper.
