Job summary

Surlean Foods is seeking a dedicated sanitation supervisor to lead and inspire a team in a high-demand food manufacturing environment. You will oversee cleaning, sanitizing, and PPE compliance while ensuring adherence to QA and USDA standards.

Responsibilities include guiding daily operations, maintaining housekeeping, training team members, and collaborating with other department managers to continuously improve sanitation processes and food safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory/lead experience in industrial food cleaning and sanitation.
• Experience in industrial food-related cleaning and sanitation.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Able to work third shift and weekends.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must understand sanitation/chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate the team to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Prioritize workload and assign tasks for efficient service.
• Monitor and ensure PPE compliance and safe work environment.
• Maintain plant cleanliness and sanitation per QA and USDA standards.
• Provide training and coaching to team members.
• Collaborate with other department managers to implement best practices.
