Job summary

Tyson Foods in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a sanitation associate to clean and sanitize production equipment and facilities to meet stringent food safety standards. You will support HACCP, GMP, and USDA policies while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

You will operate cleaning chemicals, wear PPE, and follow safety procedures. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the flexibility to work the 3rd shift with possible overtime in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• Willing to work with cleaning chemicals, including caustics.
• Able to work in elevated areas around electrical equipment.
• Able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Comfortable standing 8–10 hours and in wet/cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform dry pick-up of inedible materials from equipment and floors.
• Execute cleaning and sanitation using approved chemical agents.
• Handle and mix approved sanitation chemicals per procedures.
• Follow USDA, HACCP and GMP policies for food safety.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
