Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Sanitation Worker in Aurora, CO to lead and coordinate sanitation activities for the plant. The position ensures cleaning of equipment, utensils, and facilities in accordance with SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards, supporting safe, quality food production.

Typical shift is first, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM with a pay rate of $17.10 per hour. The role requires adherence to food safety policies, attendance expectations, and preparation for weekly deep cleaning.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food safety and quality.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule with overtime availability.
• End-of-week deep cleaning mandatory.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• GMP compliance and good personal hygiene.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow GMP policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with sanitation and other department staff.
• Follow SSOPs including eight steps of sanitation.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers.
• Learn how to clean and sanitize food production equipment and environment.
• Perform all duties as assigned.
