Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is hiring a Sanitation Worker for 1st shift 4:00 AM-12:30 PM. You will lead sanitation tasks to clean equipment, utensils and the facility to support safe food production.

You will follow GMP, SSOPs, HACCP and SQF guidelines, wear PPE, and work with multiple departments to deliver a sanitary plant. English reading ability, reliable transportation, and overtime flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge on Food Safety and Quality.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule with overtime availability.
• Mandatory end-of-week deep cleaning.
• Must read and write in English.
• GMP and personal hygiene compliance.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow GMP policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with sanitation and other departments.
• Follow SSOPs including eight steps of sanitation.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers.
• Learn to clean and sanitize production equipment and environment.
• Perform all work duties as assigned.
