Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Sanitation Worker (Food Manufacturing Plant) to join the Aurora, CO team on 2nd shift (12:00 PM-8:30 PM). The role focuses on cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils and the plant to ensure food safety and quality, with involvement in GMP, SQF, HACCP, and related policies.

The position requires the eight steps of sanitation, proper chemical handling, timely execution, and adherence to company creed and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge on Food Safety and Quality.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule which includes overtime.
• Minimal ability to read and write in English.
• Follow GMP and maintains good personal hygiene.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wear appropriate PPE and follow GMP policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with sanitation employees and other departments.
• Follow SSOPs including eight steps of sanitation.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment and chemical containers.
• Learn how to clean and sanitize food production equipment and environment.
• Perform all work duties as assigned.
