Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Batesville, MS is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean and safe warehouse workspace. Responsibilities include janitorial duties across dry, cooler, and freezer areas, following health and safety policies, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent is required.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience is required.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
