Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation associate in Massachusetts for a Sunday through Thursday shift starting at 7:00pm until finish. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment and supports essential distribution operations.

Responsibilities include following health and safety policies, handling cleaning duties and hazardous materials procedures, and completing required training. The position offers competitive pay and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work per health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals per hazmat material sheets.
• Completes Pure Safety training modules on time.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse to receptacles.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

We value the safety and health of our associates! Warehouse Sanitation ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Warehouse Sanitation performs general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
