Job summary

Core-Mark International in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe work environment within a critical food-distribution facility. You will perform general janitorial and sanitation tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas, while supporting office spaces as needed.

The role requires a proactive, safety-first mindset. Key tasks include following health and safety policies, training completion, and possible operation of a pallet jack for waste

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months sanitation/cleaning/janitorial experience preferred.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions or acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Completes safety training modules on time.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
