Job summary

The Long Bay Resort in Myrtle Beach is looking for a dedicated Custodial/Sanitation Worker responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the property, performing light maintenance tasks, and supporting the Housekeeping & Maintenance team.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 25-50 lbs, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Weekly pay and various benefits including medical insurance and a 401(k) plan are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Overview

As a Custodial/Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for delivering linen, up‑keeping the property, acknowledging and greeting guests, and acting as support staff for the Housekeeping & Maintenance team.

Responsibilities

Custodial/Sanitation Worker responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas inside and outside the resort including stairs/railings, ceilings and vents on an as needed basis
• Light maintenance work as needed, including pressure washing and battery powered blowers
• Removal and replacement of trash both outdoors & indoors
• Clean and reset pool decks & beach access areas
• Stock supplies in storage rooms and merchandise areas
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
• Must be comfortable working both indoors & outdoors
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a positive attitude while performing tasks
