Overview

Dishwashers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food & beverage services. They uphold our standards of cleanliness for glassware, utensils, and tableware through proper sanitation protocols. Additionally, they contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area by following proper sanitation procedures
• Use the prescribed equipment and cleaning methods to assure proper sanitation; wash glassware, utensils, and dishware by hand or place them in the dishwasher machine
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook line and other designated storage areas
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors; clean shelves, carts and racks
• Wash work tables, meat blocks, walls and walk-in coolers and freezers
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers
• Clean and hose out garbage cans
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation
• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for long periods of time
• Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
• Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
