Job summary

Claire Myers Consulting in San Jose, CA is seeking a high-energy recruiter to own the full lifecycle in-office, five days a week. This role targets about 15 hires per year and requires strong relationship-building in the local community.

You will source, engage, and close top candidates, serve as the face of the office to candidates and stakeholders, and deliver a concierge-level candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of recruiting, sales, or relationship-driven experience.
• Proven ability to hunter and generate candidates through outreach and networking.
• Highly outgoing, personable, and confident in building new relationships.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills; avoids letting things fall through the cracks.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting with a focus on sourcing, engaging, and closing high-quality candidates
• Consistently hit a target of ~15 hires per year
• Build and maintain strong community partnerships (local organizations, universities, networking groups, etc.)
• Serve as a relationship manager and “face of the office” for candidates
• Proactively source talent through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
• Create and execute strategies to build long-term candidate pipelines
• Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level candidate experience from first interaction through onboarding
• Maintain strong follow-up cadence and communication with all candidates and stakeholders
• Partner closely with internal leadership on hiring needs, market feedback, and process improvements
