Job summary

Eurofins Des Moines is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Registration Clerk to join our environmental testing team. You will receive samples, log data in the LIMS, and coordinate with analysts to ensure accurate testing, reporting, and billing.

The role requires punctuality, collaboration, and strict adherence to SOPs. You will train new staff, help maintain registration procedures, and contribute to a productive workflow while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s Degree in science preferred, or equivalent.
• Type 45 words per minute.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples for analysis and enter all pertinent information concerning testing, reporting, and billing of samples in the computer system per SOPs.
• Work interactively with technical staff to ensure client expectations are met for testing, reporting, and invoicing.
• Proficient in performing duties of Sample Registration.
• Troubleshoot Fresh Desk tickets to resolve customer issues.
• Ensure work is completed when co-workers are absent.
• Organize tasks in Sample Registration.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other employees.
• Assist in training of new staff in Sample Registration.
• Maintain/update Sample Registration procedures and flow charts.
• Manage time to maximize productivity.
• Maintain sample flow and priorities for productivity.
• Respond to client, staff, and co-worker queries in a timely manner.
