Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is hiring a Lab Sample Handler to unpack environmental samples received at the laboratory and record temperatures at receipt. You will document discrepancies with client paperwork and organize samples for registration while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include handling sample kits, advising on temperature-related issues, and assisting in labeling and filing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English professionally.
• Basic computer skills to operate lab systems.

Responsibilities

• Unpack sample kits and coolers received at the lab.
• Take and record the temperature of environmental samples at receipt.
• Document discrepancies with client paperwork and organize samples.
• Inform Sample Registration of temperature alerts or rush samples.
• Carry out SOPs and safety procedures.
• Assist with labeling, filing, and bottle prep as needed.
