Job summary

Btween is seeking a Sample Coordinator to manage development samples from design through production in a fast-paced apparel environment in New York. You will track, unpack, and catalog samples, arrange shipping to factories and internal teams, and support design and fit sessions to keep milestones on schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Track and inventory samples from design to production.
• Check-in/check-out, unpacking, cataloging, and orga nizing incoming samples.
• Pack and ship samples to overseas factories, domestic teams, events, and studios.
• Support design and fit sessions by preparing samples for milestones.
• Maintain trackers and update spreadsheets with sample location and status.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding ETA and tracking information.

A Sample Coordinator for a kids' apparel company tracks clothing samples from the initial design phase to final production. Manage the send samples from factories and hand ou to production teams. The goal is to ensure that development stays on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample Tracking & Inventory
• Check-in and Check-out: Receive, unpack, and catalog all incoming development and sales samples.
• Storage and Organization: Shipping and Receiving: Pack and ship samples to overseas factories, domestic sales teams, marketing events, and photo studios.
• Cross-Functional SupportDesign & Fit: Help designers and production countterparts prepare samples for fit sessions and milestone meetings.
• Administration & ReportingUpdate Trackers: Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets showing where every sample is located and its current approval status.
• Cross-Border Coordination: Communicate closely with vendors regarding sample ETA and tracking info.

Job Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's or associate's degree in Fashion, Merchandising, or Business is preferred.
